MANDATE
Formulate, develop & implement plans, programs, and projects in the field of social welfare and development. Adopt policies to ensure effective implementation of programs for public and private social welfare policies. Promote, support, and coordinate the establishment, expansion, and maintenance of non-government social welfare.
VISION
The LSWO shall seek to build the capability and empower disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities to improve their quality of life in hazard free environment through the mobilization of indigenous resources and promotions of beneficial cultural beliefs and practices.
MISSION
To care, protect, and rehabilitate disadvantaged individual, families and sectors of the community through generation and mobilization of resources and effective and efficient implementation of social welfare and development programs, services, and projects in partnership with GOs, NGOs, NGAs, and Local Government unit in all.
